About TYF
Started in 2011 as a voluntary youth group, TYF is a civil, non-governmental and non-profit foundation. After a series of community activities, it was officially registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on May 25th, 2013, with license No. 312/ 2013, and in accordance with Law No. (1) of 2001. TYF seeks to support socio-economic interventions to create and secure adequate livelihood opportunities for members of society, and enable them to thrive, grow and participate in making immediate and long-term change, allowing everyone to live in peace and competence.
What is the Logo Philosophy?
Tamdeen Youth Foundation is the unity of ideas, visions, missions and objectives. Its identity is in its logo, according to data and meanings that do not resemble familiar meanings. It’s called Tamdeen because the real civilization is in the ways of thinking, speaking and dealing with others based on a system of civilized values that respects human being and protects his dignity. Youth are power, inspiration, enthusiasm, vitality, thinking and creativity. The logo colors create hope and optimism and manifest diversity, coexistence and cooperation to highlight TYF's approach to making alliances, partnerships and teamwork to create a more vibrant and harmonious reality. It also takes a universal spherical shape that reflects its values in respecting the rights, attitudes and beliefs of others, to work for human service and to achieve better living conditions for all.
Who works for TYF?
Committed to the UN Charter, the International Humanitarian Standards, and its Code of Conduct, Tamdeen Youth Foundation is not biased in its work. Its staff is therefore independent of ideological biases and political tensions. It is predominantly youthful, efficient and diverse, and is constantly developing its performance.
What are TYF's Strategic Directions?

Where does TYF work?
TYF's work is concentrated in Yemen. It implements its programs and projects in most of Yemen's governorates. It has offices in Sana'a, Aden, Taiz and Ibb, and temporary offices in the project implementation areas. In early 2019, TYF opened a regional office in Amman, Jordan.

Can I volunteer with you?
Any volunteer can register through our website, bearing in mind that volunteers are absorbed as needed, whether in the field, administration, planning and technical work.
Can I apply for a job at TYF?
TYF usually advertises jobs on its own websites and platforms, and via Yemen HR, so we recommend following up on the sites and platforms mentioned.
Can I get material assistance, Medicines, etc.?
TYF implements its programs through development and humanitarian projects in accordance with prior field studies and surveys, chronic periods and specific geographical scopes for each project. It does not provide assistance for individual cases.
Where does TYF get project funding?
TYF relies heavily on international donors. The UN organizations, offices and funds are TYF’s largest donors. Through its hard and transparent work, TYF has gained the trust of all its donors, partners, and local oversight bodies.
