On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, celebrated by the world on September 21 each year, and under the theme "Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World", declared by the UN General Assembly, local civil society organizations in Yemen, and members of the Localization of Humanitarian Action Initiative, are calling on the parties to the war in Yemen and the UN to alleviate the humanitarian situation on Yemenis through a package of urgent measures.
