On her International Day: Empowering rural women is the foundation for achieving comprehensive development

Rural communities in Yemen
rely heavily on women in agriculture and livestock. Despite this role, rural women continue to face neglect of society, deprivation of many opportunities and rights. The continuation of the war has also hindered the role of rural women in Yemen and made them one of the most prominent and suffering victims because of the increase of poverty and the spread of diseases and epidemics.

#On the occasion of Rural Women’s Day –  October 15, Tamdeen Youth Foundation renewes its commitment to contribute to the empowerment of women and promotes resistance to the climate crisis. A tribute to the rural woman whose perspiration is in plains, mountains, valleys and coasts, in order to live with her family with dignity.
