Project summary:

The project enhances local capacities to resolve water-based conflicts in targeted areas, involve women in the management of water users associations and conflict resolution, and raise awareness of the early warning system and disaster preparedness at the local level.

Project outcomes:

• Rehabilitating and building the capacity of 12 water users associations in Zinjibar and Khanfir.
• Involving women in the management of 12 of water users associations.
• Raising awareness on disaster risk reduction and flood early warning system.
