Tamdeen Youth Foundation Launches (training of community health volunteers) in Al Mukha and Dhubab inTaiz and Al Hawak in Al Hudaydah
Today, (Saturday) Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) launched the training of male and female volunteers in the fields of health, nutrition Wash in Taiz and Al Hudaydah cities. This comes within the Integrated Assistance Project for the most vulnerable groups, which is being implemented by the foundation and supported by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
In Al Mukha and Dhubab districts in Taiz, the project aims to provide health and nutrition services to 34,000 and 809 people. The training of volunteers has started on the project manual and indicators of severe and moderate malnutrition of children, how to treat them and provide health nutrition services with medical standards, as well as the comprehensive health prevention education and awareness mechanism.
In Al Hawak district in Al Hudaydah, the project aims to improve the services of Wash for 49,000 and 736 people.
In partnership with Mozn Foundation for Social Development, Tamdeen Youth Foundation has launched the training of male and female volunteers to inform them of the project objectives and the mechanism and stages of its implementation, and to enhance their skills in effective communication to disseminate health awareness in communities in the targeted areas
