To combat dengue fever and disease-carrying viruses… a clean-up campaign in Al Hawak district in Al Hudaydah

To combat dengue fever and remove the carrying spots for virus types of fever, In partnership with Mozn Foundation for Social Development, Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) has implemented a clean-up campaign in Al Rubsa neighborhood in Al Hawak district – Al Hudaydah Governorate. It managed to lift 67 tons of garbage and solid waste. The campaign, which was contributed by the governorate’s Hygiene and Improvement Fund, was met with the reaction and satisfaction of the people who accumulated the garbage in their lanes over 3 years and the Fund’s attempts to lift it were hampered by the war circumstances and the disorder in the situation in Al Hudaydah.
The campaign comes within the integrated assistance project for the most vulnerable groups, which is implemented by the Foundation with the support of the Humanitarian Pooled Fund in Yemen (YHF) in Al Hawak, Al Mukha and Dhubab districts in the western coast of Yemen
