Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) continues its humanitarian response to combat dengue fever in the West Coast

Within the framework of the rapid response from Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) to combat dengue fever and fever-carring viruses in the west coast of Yemen, female volunteers in the health of the community launched awareness sessions in Al Mukha and Dhubab districts, in which students and homemakers learn about the dangers of dengue fever, how to combat it and ways to prevent it, and how to prevent other diseases and epidemics such as cholera epidemic and acute watery diarrhoea. Volunteers activity also includes the distribution of brochures and posters to promote health awareness among the population in the target areas.
This took place after Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) provided last Wednesday Al Mukha General Hospital with a quantity of medicines, medical supplies and diagnostic solutions for fever types, a contribution from the foundation to saving the lives of civilians there from the danger of fever types and the spread of communicable diseases. In addition to the success of the foundation in operating five health centers and units in Al Mukha and Dhubab districts, and the maintenance and cleaning of the sewerage network in Al Hawak district, through the “integrated assistance project for the most vulnerable groups in Taiz and Al Hudaydah governorates, which is implemented by the Foundation with the support of the #Humanitarian_Pooled_Fund_in_Yemen
