Within the framework of GACIII Y2 project , and in partnership with Care International, Tamdeen Youth Foundation launched today (Monday) a wide clean-up campaign in Al Ma’afer district in Taiz governorate.

The 30-day campaign, in cooperation with the district’s Hygiene and Improvement Fund, aims to combat disease carriers and promot environmental sanitation by disposing of garbage and waste in the areas of “Al Nashmah, Al Beerain, and Al Ahad market”.

This comes as the project leaders continue to meet the basic needs of the people in the districts of “Al Ma’afer, Al Shamayatain and Samea”, enhance their access to safe drinking water and preserve the environment, while implementing awareness-raising activities and education sessions by community health volunteers on sanitation and safe hygiene
