Tamdeen Youth Foundation meets water and sanitation needs for displaced persons.
To protect the displaced persons from the risk of diseases and epidemics, and to preserve the healthy environment in the displacement areas, Tamdeen Youth Foundation, and through the project of the ( Emergency Response for Basic Health Services, Shelter and Camp Management), funded by the Humanitarian Pooled Fund in Yemen (YHF), is implementing maintenance work for sanitation facilities, personal hygiene, and water tanks in the camps of (Al-Raon and Warazan in Dimnat Khadir, and the camps of Al-Bareed and Al-Bareed Al-Markezy in Al Ta’azeyiah district) Taiz.
The project also provides displaced persons with tools to dispose of wastewater in a healthy way, as well as clean-up campaigns and awareness activities focusing on safe drinking water, hand washing, food hygiene, diarrhoeal diseases and dehydration, and preventive measures against Covid-19 virus.
