Today, the management of Al Mudhaffar General Hospital in Taiz governorate honored the Tamdeen Youth Foundation(TYF) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) with the Shield of Excellence in the Humanitarian Response for their role in supporting the health system in the governorate to provide medical and therapeutic services to the population, as well as their contribution to providing the hospital with medicines, equipment and supplies for the response to Covid-19 virus and the fight against fevers through the (Emergency Response) project, implemented by the Foundation in partnership with the International Rescue Committee.

The hospital management, represented by its General Director/ Fahad Mahmoud Hassan, also handed over certificates of appreciation to the project team and saluted their humanitarian efforts in serving vulnerable groups.

For his part, The Director of the Foundation in Taiz, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musalami, praised the active role of the health office in the governorate and the managements of Al Mudhaffar, Al Mesrakh, and Al Aroos Rural hospitals in providing facilities and integration with the foundation in order to achieve the success of the project at a distinct level.
