The director of Jabal Habashi district in Taiz governorate, Faris Al-Muleiki praised the humanitarian role played by Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) and said, in a speech at the workshop on criteria for targeting families and forming aid committees organized by the Foundation’s office: “Tamdeen Youth is the only Foundation that has been able to deliver food to the poor in all sub-districts and villages of the district, and contributed to a large extent to bridge the food gap in Jabal Habashi since April         today2018 until today.” Furthermore, the director of Al-Misrakh district, Yahya Ismail said: “Tamdeen Foundation provides relief according to accurate and transparent humanitarian standards and we support to deliver the largest amount of aid to the largest number of vulnerable and affected by the war.” He also praised the interaction of the Foundation’s office in Taiz with all the observations and proposals that would ensure integration to overcome all challenges and difficulties. The Director of Tamdeen Youth Office in Taiz, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musallami, explained that the workshop comes within the framework of the GFD project implemented by the Foundation in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) and targets 22944 families in Al-Misrakh and Jabal Habashi districts. The workshop aimed at building the capacities of the committees in the field of standards and mechanisms for the distribution of food aid to vulnerable families at the level of sub-districts and villages, in order to launch a new phase of the project in the same two districts to the end of this year after the success of the first phase from January 2018 to March 2019. Mohammed Abdullah, the director of the sub-committee for relief in Taiz, attended the workshop.
