Tamdeen Youth honors CARE International team in Taiz
Today, Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) honored CARE International team for its partnership with the foundation in implementing the project of meeting the basic needs, accessing to WASH and improving reproductive health (GACIII) in Al- Ma’afer, AL-Shamayten and Samie districts, Taiz governorate, during the period from August until December 2018 , benefiting 33645 beneficiaries. The project could also raise more than 150 tons of rubbish from Al-turba city in Al-Ma’afer. Director of Tamdeen Youth Office in Taiz, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Musalami said: “The award comes in recognition of CARE efforts to success GACIII project, reduce epidemics and diseases in the targeted districts and raise the awareness of the population about the importance of hygiene, and mothers and newborns health. furthermore, the success of the awareness activities of the project led to the declaration of villages free of defecation outside.” He also pointed out that the Foundation enjoys a strategic partnership with CARE, which is currently involved in the implementation of projects in 7 districts in Taiz.
