Considering It As an Integrated Ethical Approach... Tamdeen Youth Foundation Prepares to Launch the First Social Responsibility Forum
As part of its growing interest in social responsibility, TYF, through mobilizing energies and experiences and promoting initiatives, is launching the first Social Responsibility Forum in Yemen to raise awareness about this responsibility and promote it in various sectors. This will reflect on the stimulation of the private sector as an important provider of development and create an effective partnership between it and various society institutions to achieve sustainable development in educational, health, social, economic and environmental aspects.
Within this framework, TYF held a discussion session with academics and civil society activists on the promotion of social responsibility and the importance of encouraging and supporting any initiative or study in this aspect. This will be through the coordination with government, private sector and international organizations, and the involvement of all actors and stakeholders in civil society, since social responsibility is a collective and shared responsibility and an integrated ethical approach.
Tamdeen Youth Foundation was honored to have the Professor of Sociology at Sana'a University, Dr. Adel Al Sharjabi, Dean of the Faculty of Information at Sana'a University, Dr. Ali Al Buraihy, Chairman of the Yemeni Initiative for Social Responsibility, Mr. Yassin Al Shaibani, and the Community Activist Fatima Al Kebsi.
