As Education is a right for every child and the closest way to building, development and peace, within its Health, Nutrition and Emergency Interventions Project, funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Tamdeen Youth Foundation launched the distribution of 1850 school bags to students in 10 targeted schools in Maqbanah district, Taiz.

The school bags included notebooks and stationery. They were distributed to students from primary classes and students with special needs in the targeted schools.

Parents of the students benefiting from the project said that they were happy to receive the school bags, as they would reduce the burden on them this school year.

The distribution of the school bags contributes to improving and raising the level of education and developing the educational process. In addition to motivating students to continue their formal education, achieve excellence and protect them from school drop-outs
