Tamdeen Youth Trains Hundreds of Women and Distributes Dairy Tools for Them in Tuban and Tur Al Bahah Districts, Lahj Governorate

 

Within its efforts to empower rural women, and as part of Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security Project in Yemen (ERRY ll), funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Tamdeen Youth Foundation has trained 823 female beneficiaries in Toban and Tur Al Bshah districts, Lahj.

 

The project included the distribution of dairy tools to all female trainees, 554 in Toban and 269 in Tur Al Bahah.

 

This activity is part of previous activities, such as the establishment of field schools for cereals, tomatoes, dairy and animal fattening, the provision of forage cubes, bran and seeds, and all guidance sessions to improve production.

 

The total beneficiaries of all project activities are 10,578.
