To provide psychosocial support to children and to create better education and protection opportunities for war-affected communities, TYF has launched the training for teachers, school administration and parent councils in 9 schools in Hays District, Al Hudaydah Governorate. 

This training is part of the (Humanitarian Response Interventions for Education Project), implemented by TYF, with funding from Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF). The project will repair and restore the classrooms, provide school furniture and basic school supplies, establish temporary learning spaces, provide alternative learning spaces and safe spaces for psychosocial support.

The launch of the training was attended by Mr. Mutahar Al Qadi, Director-General of Hays District, Chairman of the Local Council, Sheikh Nasir Zaid Mohieddin, Member of Hays House of Representatives, and Mr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Okaish, Director of Endowment (Waqf) and Guidance of the district.
