Monday, in Aden, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF), represented by its Economic Empowerment Program Manager, Mr. Nashwan Al Qubati, and the National Foundation for Training and Development (NFTD), represented by its Chairman, Dr. Wa'el Mustafa Shukri. 

The memorandum included cooperation in capacity-building, training of cadres, especially youth and women, and integration between the two foundations in the areas of economic empowerment and sustainable development.

After the signing, Al Qubati noted that the memorandum is part of TYF's programs to empower youth and qualify them for the labor market, and to contribute to economic recovery, development and reconstruction of Yemen.

Shukri, in turn, emphasized that this phase requires concerted efforts to lift youth and women out of poverty and unemployment, and to provide them with vocational and life skills in order to enhance their employment opportunities and their fruitful participation in economic recovery.
