The memorandum included cooperation in the areas of training, rehabilitation and promotion of the capacities of the Authority's staff and fish producers.

It provided for partnership in assessing the needs of the fish sector, mobilizing resources for the rehabilitation of landing centres, and implementing projects to improve livelihoods in coastal communities, as well as cooperation of the two parties in organizing a conference to protect the marine environment, implementing joint programs and activities to improve production and create jobs, and increasing the technical capacity of personnel in the areas of quality control, fishing and farming.

The Authority's Chairman, Eng. Yeslam Saeed Omar Babalghum, expressed his pleasure in partnership with Tamdeen Youth Foundation, stressing that the advancement of fisheries capacity and its institutional construction requires the cooperation of all government, organizations and the private sector, thereby enhancing the role and contribution of the fish sector in the economic recovery and maintaining the sustainability of fish stocks.
