Today, as the founder of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, I am honored to celebrate with you TYF's tenth anniversary to reflect on the harvest of a decade of transformations, challenges and achievements, and to move forward with confidence and hope.

Ten years ago, Tamdeen Foundation was an idea and then an initiative that turned into a practical project, and a foundation. TYF was developed alot. It expanded its scope of work to reach most governorates of Yemen, and build a wide network of relationships with the local community, partners and donors. This was not easy, but we were able to do so because of hard work, and our determination to succeed.

After a decade of successive achievements in a difficult work environment, Tamdeen Youth Foundation celebrates its tenth anniversary. It has made a prominent impact on humanitarian and development action in Yemen, and has become an active actor among CSOs.

We worked in the humanitarian response, provided shelter, coordinated and managed camps for IDPs... We operated tens of health facilities that were suspended by the war... We have also provided monthly food rations to tens of thousands of needy families.

We delivered aid to civilians near the lines of fire... We implemented water projects in remote villages and built schools for children in remote and deprived areas.

With the prolonged humanitarian crisis in Yemen, Tamdeen Youth adopted the coordination and launch of the Localization of Humanitarian Action Initiative in Yemen to optimize humanitarian response mechanisms and enhance the role of local organizations. TYF's work also focuses on economic empowerment, sustainable development projects and contribution to the preserving the environment.

Today, we celebrate our achievements, remembering the challenges and difficulties we faced. We are proud of everyone who shared with us hope, work, facing difficulties and making successes, whether our main team, field workers, volunteers or beneficiaries of our projects, and all partners as each of them is an integral part of our success.

As we look back today, we learn from our mistakes, and renew our determination to move confidently towards a bright future made by creative youth from all governorates of Yemen, qualified and competent in many disciplines, have noble human values, and harness their efforts and minds to improve people's lives, participate seriously in building and developing society, and move forward with Tamdeen Foundation towards wider horizons.

During these years, I have learned alot. I have done a lot of training, education, capacity building, creating opportunities for youth, and attracting creative cadres in many disciplines so the tenth anniversary comes and I am proud of all that.

Today, Tamdeen Youth Foundation is an integrated vital system of trained, qualified and experienced youth cadres in the field of humanitarian and development action and institutional building. They are its real capital and makers of its success story.

I am grateful to all those who supported me on this journey. I extend my thanks and praise to all TYF's young men and women. They are people of high determination, creative minds, and sincere efforts, including workers, employees and volunteers, who have worked and are still working hard and actively to achieve TYF's vision and humanitarian and development goals.
I am proud of everyone at Tamdeen Youth Foundation. And I am sure that we will continue to work with the same spirit and dedication to achieve more successes and achievements in the future.
