Supported by YHF... Tamdeen Youth Foundation Ensures Quality of Education for 8,363 Children
Thanks to support from Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), Tamdeen Youth Foundation TYF is working to ensure the quality of education for 8,363 children through the "Emergency, Quality, and Safe Education Services and Assistants for the Most Vulnerable IDPs, People With Disabilities, and Host Communities in Maqbanah and Al Qafr Districts in Taiz and Ibb Governorates During the Academic Year 2022/2023, (Priority 2)."
TYF's efforts include the establishment of temporary classrooms, the rehabilitation of 11 schools, the rehabilitation of gender-sensitive WASH facilities, the provision of the necessary educational means facilities such as school bags and seats, the training of male and female teachers and social workers, as well as the provision of recreational kits and safety and security tools.
This project contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 "Ensure Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Promote Lifelong Learning Opportunities for All", and is in line with the minimum standards for Education in Emergencies issued by the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE).
