On the Way to COP28 ... Tamdeen Youth Foundation Participates in RCOY MENA
Tamdeen Youth Foundation, represented by its founder, Mr. Hussein Al Suhaily, and its Director of Taiz Region, Dr. Ibrahim Al Musalami, is participating in the Regional Conference of Youth in the Middle East and North Africa (ROCY MENA). This year's conference will be jointly organized by Oman and Egypt, and in which more than 100 young men and women from more than 20 Arab countries will participate.
The conference aims to highlight the impacts of climate change on the region, discuss ways to adapt to these impacts, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In a statement, Dr. Ibrahim Al Musalami explained that the conference provides a vital platform for youth to contribute to raising awareness of the risks of climate change to our region, and holding governments and companies accountable for climate change.
Mr. Hussain Al Suhaily emphasized that the conference is the most important gathering of young climate activists in the region, and its outputs will serve as a document of recommendations that will be delivered to decision-makers to government presidents and representatives at the upcoming COP28, held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2024."
