Tamdeen Youth Foundation Launches “Digital Transformation for Humanitarian and Development Action” Workshop
Today, Tuesday, Tamdeen Youth Foundation launched in Taiz Governorate a workshop on "Digital Transformation" to enhance the business and services environment in the humanitarian and development sectors.
The workshop, inaugurated by Mr. Fouad Al Faqih, Deputy General Manager of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz Governorate, and Dr. Ibrahim Al Musalami, Director of Taiz Region, and in the presence of experts and specialists in digital transformation, and the participation of the private sector, Chamber of Commerce, banks and microfinance institutions, provides a space to exchange ideas, solutions and ways of working together to adapt technology in the service of humanitarian and development action.
"The workshop is part of TYF's efforts to promote digital transformation to provide innovative and pioneering solutions in the humanitarian and development sectors, and to provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs, project owners and startups specialized in the field of programming to facilitate people's lives and provide services." Al Musalami explained
The workshop is expected to provide important inputs for the development of the Digital Finance Operations Manual and a feasibility study for remote consultations and e-commerce, thus enriching the humanitarian and development action database, facilitating organizations' access to beneficiaries, and developing their services.
