Tamdeen Youth Foundation organized a special workshop on "Digital Platforms to Support Business and Finance Economic Empowerment Projects". The workshop was attended by 20 participants, representing various parties, including beneficiaries, technical partners, banks and financial institutions, a number of government agencies, civil society organizations, specialists and interested persons.

The workshop discussions focused on the feasibility of developing a digital platform to support businesses and finance SMEs, and evaluating a proposed model of the digital platform's operations manual.

Mr. Nashwan Al Qubati, Director of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, who launched the opening of the workshop, explained that the digital platform will provide many interconnected digital services, the most important of which are:

* Digital Finance

* E-Commerce

* Consulting

"This workshop comes within the framework of TYF's efforts to promote digital transformation to provide innovative and pioneering solutions in the fields of humanitarian action and community development, as well as to continue its efforts to develop a digital platform with a view to contributing to the promotion of economic development and the creation of new jobs for young men and women in Yemen.

For his part, the workshop presenter, Consultant Yazeed Al Athwari, explained that the digital platform will play an important role in supporting businesses and financing economic empowerment projects in Yemen, as:

- The platform will allow startups and SMEs to access digital finance easily and conveniently.

- The platform will facilitate startups and SMEs to create online stores and market their products and services online.

- The platform will provide beneficiaries with technical, financial and management advice that will help them develop their businesses and achieve success.

The workshop produced important conclusions and recommendations on the topics of discussion.
