Training Young Men and Women on Advanced Peacebuilding in Ash Shamayatain District, Taiz
Today, Sunday, Tamdeen Youth Foundation launched a special training course for a group of young men and women in Ash Shamayatain District, Taiz Governorate, on "Advanced Peacebuilding". This comes as part of the activities of "Building the Resilience of Vulnerable Groups in the Conflict Regions", implemented by TYF in the district, in partnership with CARE, and with funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The course aims to provide youth with the necessary skills to understand and analyze the underlying causes of conflict in local communities, and to provide trainees with the skills to manage disputes and conflicts without resorting to violence. It also aims to inform them about ways to maximize the impact of humanitarian response and development programs by building sustainable peace.
Trainer, Issa Al Qadasi, expressed his pleasure with the participation of young people in this course, stressing the importance of their role in building coexisting and stable societies.
