Tamdeen Youth Foundation Distributes Entrepreneurial Tools to 50 Women in the Fish Processing Sector in Aden
Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) distributed 50 entrepreneurial toolkits to women working in fish processing in Ras Imran and Faqm areas, Al-Buraiqeh District, Aden Governorate. This initiative is part of the project "Empowering Women in Fisheries and Sustainable Livelihoods through Professional Excellence and Market Integration," implemented by TYF with funding from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, in partnership with Expertise France.
This distribution follows the project's provision of professional training and advisory sessions aimed at developing their small businesses, supervising them, linking them to market chains and coastal associations, and equipping them with the skills and tools to establish their own projects, ensuring sustainability, growth, and integration into the labor market.
Hadeel Al-Hajj, Project Officer at Tamdeen Youth Foundation:
"We are very proud of what we have achieved with these amazing women. The distribution of entrepreneurial toolkits is a practical step to empower women to apply the skills they have gained during the training, build projects that improve their living conditions, and support the local economy."
Waleed Al Saadi, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Expertise France:
"This project reflects Expertise France’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower women in Yemen and improve their livelihoods. We are delighted to partner with Tamdeen Youth Foundation to enhance the economic role of women in the fisheries sector."
