Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) handed out financial grants to 140 beneficiaries from Al-Shamaytin and Al-Maafer districts in Taiz Governorate, as part of the ‘Resilience Building Project for IDPs and host communities affected by crises and conflicts’ implemented by the Foundation, in partnership with Oxfam, and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The financial grants were awarded to the beneficiaries after they completed a training programme in the field of establishing and managing small enterprises and livelihood improvement skills, which was organised by Tamdeen Youth Foundation according to the methodology of  International Labour Organization (ILO).

The project aims to empower local communities, develop their capacities, and promote a culture of entrepreneurship and small enterprises, which is a key driver of economic growth and sustainable development.
