Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) has launched the project "Enhancing Internal Mediation in Four Directorates in the Governorates of Taiz and Lahj," with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and within the activities of the United Nations Peace Support Facility (PSF).

During the coordination workshop held in Taiz Governorate, and with the attendance of representatives from the Governorate's Planning and International Cooperation Office and the directors of Al-Mawasit and As-Silw districts, the Project Officer, Hamad Waleed, gave a detailed presentation about the project, explaining its objectives and importance in building the capacities of local mediators and enabling them to play an effective role in resolving local conflicts and strengthening the foundations of sustainable peace in their communities.

The project aims to support local solutions to conflicts, establish a culture of dialogue, and build safer and more cohesive environments in the targeted areas.
