Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) has launched three training courses in Al-Salw and Al-Mawasit districts in Taiz governorate, and Al-Musaimir district in Lahj governorate. This is part of the "Enhancing Internal Mediation in Four Districts in Taiz and Lahj Governorates" project, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as part of the Peace Support Facility (PSF).

These courses, which will last for 12 days, aim to qualify 42 internal mediators in the targeted districts, by developing their skills in resolving local disputes and establishing concepts of dialogue and community understanding.

These activities come within the framework of the partnership between Tamdeen Youth Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme, to enhance the role of local mediators in building sustainable peace, promoting social cohesion, and peaceful coexistence in conflict-affected areas.
