Distribution of 314 hygiene bags in Al-Wazay’eah in Taiz city

to reduce water and sanitation diseases and to make the success of the systematic interventions for multi-sectoral assistance project for internally displaced persons and host communities, implemented by Tamdeen Youth Foundation(TYF) and in partnership with Care International in Jabal Habashi, Al-Ma’afer, Al-Mawaset, Samea, Alselw and Al-Wazay’eah districts in Taiz city. The project teams distributed today (Monday) 150 hygiene bags in Al-Bukara hamlet in Al-Wazay’eah district. The project aims to mobilize 32900 people to participate effectively in addressing water and sanitation problems and hygiene of individuals, homes and environment. The catalytic and facilitating teams also encourage people in the project implementation areas to play an active role in hygiene campaigns and to manage water and sanitation services after the project has been able to raise their awareness of health practices in emergency phases. In Al-Duraifah hamlet in Taiz city, 164 consumer bags (hygiene) were distributed today (Monday), and that’s within the activities of ( project of addressing critical water and environmental sanitation needs) in Hayfan and Al-Wazay’eah districts in Taiz city, implemented by Tamdeen Youth Foundation(TYF) in partnership with Care International and with the support of Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
