An urgent humanitarian response to supply 350 displaced families to Ibb city with basic needs
Despite the risks and rough road crossing in the highlands and defiles and near conflict zones, Tamdeen Youth Foundation’s rapid response teams supported by their international partners, continue to provide emergency supplies and meet the urgent needs of the displaced and those whom were forced to leave their homes to escape the fighting in more than one conflict zone in Yemen.
Today, Thursday, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund #UNFPA, and with the contribution of #UNICEF, and the World Food Program #WFP, Tamdeen Youth Foundation launched a new response process to supply 350 displaced families who have recently displaced to Ibb city (50 families to Al Dihar district, 52 families to Al Mashannah district, 18 families to Reef Ibb district, and 230 families to AlNadirah district). These families receive humanitarian assistance as bags of (dignity, food, consumption), paying particular attention to the needs of women and girls who are more vulnerable in emergency situations. During the past weeks, #Tamdeen_Youth Foundation and through its rapid response project (RRM), which it implements in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund #UNFPA, has managed to reach 2,238 displaced families and provided them with basic needs.
