21 thousand beneficiaries of the project (Emergency Integration Assistance for the vulnerable groups in Mawiyah and As Silw districts in Taiz city in the fields of health and nutrition, from January to June 2019. The project, implemented by #Tamdeen_Youth_Foundation (TYF) with support of #Yemen_Humanitarian_Fund (YHF), re-operated the health units in (Al Qadha, Baher, Alwader, Quradhah, Al Jamnon, Al khuraibah and Mawmaj hamlets), and re-operated Al Adani Health Center in a Khalawah hamlet in the district. With the support of our partners, local community cooperation and the efforts of doctors and health professionals in these facilities, the project has saved the lives of 371 children from severe acute malnutrition.737 children have also been vaccinated against killer diseases, as well as providing public health services to 9 thousand people. The perfusion centers developed in these facilities, implemented an urgent cholera response for 10,911 people. The project continues to provide emergency, life-saving assistance and a minimum package of primary health-care services to the most vulnerable populations in its target areas of As silw and Mawiyah.
