Inaugurating the second phase of the rapid response project for displaced persons in Ibb and Ad Dhalea cities
Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) on this Wednesday inaugurated the second phase of the Rapid Response for Displaced Persons Project (RRM), which is being implemented with funding from #United_Nations_Population_Fund (UNFPA). Its second phase aims to monitor the wave of displacement caused by the conflict in central Yemen and register families who were forced to leave their homes in Ibb and Ad Dhalea cities. It also aims to meet their emergency basic needs of food, clothing and living tools and enable them to withstand and integrate into the host communities. The project team in the central area office of the Foundation in Ibb city has received training in the mechanism of registering displaced families, standards of protection and code of conduct.
It is worth mentioning that the first phase of the project during the period from the end of April to the beginning of August 2019, the foundation managed to reach 3041 displaced families in 12 districts in Ibb city and provided them with their basic needs.
We are proud in Tamdeen Youth Foundation of the effective humanitarian partnership with the United Nations Population Fund.
