Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) responds to the new displacements in Al Dhalea and Ibb

The continuation of fighting in Al Dhalea governorate is pushing more people to leave their homes and escape from the areas of clashes in search of security and shelter, to face risks and hardship, especially women, children and the elderly. Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is working to assist and alleviate their suffering. The RRM rapid response project teams yesterday managed to reach 43 displaced families in the districts of ( Al Dhihar, Al Mashannah and Al Makhadir) in Ibb governorate, along with 3 displaced families in Damt district in Al Dhalea governorate, and provided them with packages of food assistance, basic items and bags of dignity. These families are added to 5 thousand and 544 displaced families in the two governorates. Since May, the project has been able to meet their emergency needs, assist them maintain their dignity and promote their resilience and integration in host communities
