Community Health Volunteers in the GACIII Y2 project, which is being implemented by Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) in partnership with Care International in the districts of ” Ash Shamayatain, Al Ma’afer and Samea” in Taiz governorate, have been able to motivate communities to implement self-initiatives to prevent dengue fever, cholera, malaria and communicable diseases that are deadly to humans. This is through hygiene campaigns and the hygienic disposal of wastewater, removal of the spots where mosquitoes and fever-carrying viruses proliferate, and correction of the wrong hygiene habits
