The launching of the health services delivery activity in Al Mukha and Dhubab districts
The health teams of Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) risk their lives amid minefields, in Al Mukha and Dhubab districts, to provide basic health services to the population affected by diseases and epidemics, and don’t have the cost of medicine.
In addition to operating six health centers and units in the two districts and providing them with medicines and medical supplies, through the “Integrated Assistance Project for the most vulnerable groups” which is supported by the #Humanitarian_Pooled_Fund– in Yemen (YHF), the foundation launched the “delivery activity” to provide integrated primary health-care services, including immunization, treatment of malnutrition diseases, reproductive health, child health (under five years of age), reproductive health services for women and treatment of diarrhea, as well as health education and psychosocial support for children.
One of the project teams reached the most vulnerable groups in Al Hunjorah in Bani Al Hakam hamlet, southwest of Dhubab district, as the first health team to arrive there since 2015, to start examining patients and providing possible assistance to them.
