Tamdeen Youth commemorates International Women’s Day and honors women workers in the foundation.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, Tamdeen Youth Foundation TYF honored today its employees. At the honor ceremony, the chairman of the foundation, Hussein Al-Suhaily, delivered a speech in which he expressed appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of Tamdeen’s young women, their hard work and their active contribution to realizing the vision, mission and objectives of the foundation and the provision of humanitarian services to society. He also salutes all employees in the regions and offices of the foundation in Yemen and abroad, and salutes the great roles played by women workers and volunteers in the field who risk their lives in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable groups and those affected by war and conflict. Al-Saheli pointed out that the International Women’s Day is an occasion to remimd of the tragedy of Yemeni women, widows and orphan. “Yemeni women are the greatest victims of the wars and conflicts that men ignite,” he said.

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Najibah Al Mahdi, also delivered a speech in which she emphasized the position women have in the foundation, the jobs they hold and the opportunities available to them in the foundation, which was the gate for the success and creativity of many young women. In addition, the region of Tamdeen Youth Foundation in Taiz and Ibb governorates honored the women workers in the region, and the region’s director/Badraddin Al-Fahd delivered a speech in which he said: (On this day, I salute the leadership of the foundation that gives women special status, as well as all humanitarian workers in Yemen, I stand in respect for the steadfastness of Yemeni women throughout the years of crisis in the country, every year, Yemeni women and  women on earth are fine.)
