Today, Tuesday, #Tamdeen_Youth_Foundation launched a comprehensive clean-up campaign for Gabalah market in Mawiya district in Taiz city. The campaign was participated by the Director-General of the directorate/ Abdul Jalil Sorour, and the director of the Hygiene and Improvement Fund, Faisal Ahmed Hassan.
Adel Atef, the officer of WASH project, said:”Today, the campaign managed to lift 54 tons of garbage and solid waste, and will continue tomorrow (Wednesday) to lift another 54 tons”.
This response comes within the activities of WASH component of the Emergency Integration Assistance Project, which is being implemented by the foundation in Mawiyah and As Silw districts, with the support of #Humanitarian_Pooled_Fund – Yemen (YHF). This is aimed at assisting displaced persons and the most vulnerable groups in host communities
