Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) distributes food aid to 4446 households funded by World Food Program (WFP) in Al-Makhader district, Ibb
Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) successfully completed the distribution of the first cycle of food aid to 4446 poor and vulnerable families in Al-Makhader district, Ibb Governorate. Dr. Thi-Yazen Al-Hakimi, Manager of Tamdeen Youth in Ibb and Taiz governorates explained that the distribution of the food in the district is within the GFD project funded by WFP and the distribution process was carried out according to a transparent mechanism in 22 centers and in record time which reflected the Foundation’s ability to intervene quickly and respond in emergency situations. Al-Hakimi appreciated the support of World Food Program for helping vulnerable groups to overcome the consequences of the acute humanitarian crisis and face the basic requirements for living and thanked the teams of Tamdeen Youth Foundation for their extraordinary efforts to complete the distribution of food in a short period of time. He also appreciated the cooperation of the local authorities in the governorate and the district as well as the social bodies in facilitating the implementation of the project and contributing to overcome all challenges and difficulties.
