The Jordanian government grants Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) license to open its office in Amman
The Ministry of Social Development in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has granted Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) the license to open its office in Amman, as the first Yemeni non-profit organization. Hussein Al-Suhaili, head of the foundation, said:” The Jordanian law encourages involvement in humanitarian efforts and enables non-profit organizations and institutions to succeed and develop, support development in poor countries and help those in need.” He added that Tamdeen Youth Foundation will devote its office in the Jordanian capital to serve humanity and help the vulnerable and the poor, especially in Yemen, where the population is living the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. He also pointed out that the Jordanian authorities granted the license to Tamdeen Youth as the first Yemeni foundation because of its humanitarian work for years in accordance to international standards and its commitment to humanitarian charters and enjoy a transparent record and record of achievements. Moreover, Al-Suhaili pointed out that this achievement will enable the Foundation to launch a new phase of regional and international partnerships . Tamdeen Youth Foundation enjoys institutional competence, independence and total neutrality, its headquartered is in Sana’a, has branches in many Yemeni governorates, implements independent humanitarian programs and projects since its establishment in May 29, 2013, builds young capacities and provides emergency assistance to people affected by conflicts, disasters and epidemics.
