ECHOIII project, implemented by Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) in partnership with CARE International and funded by the European Union, provides multi-sectoral assistance to IDPs and host communities in Jabal Habashi,Al- Maafer, Al-Mawast, Samei, Al-Silw and Al-Wazeiah districts, Taiz. The project distributs 1320 shelter kits, 300  winter kits, and 1320 health kits in the targeted areas. Furthermore, it has succeeded in mobilizing and motivating communities to undertake  voluntary initiatives in the field of hygiene and environmental conservation and has made a positive change in 2555 households which garbage disposal became a daily behavior for them. The project allocates part of its activities to raise health awareness of communicable diseases and ways to prevent them through home visits by awareness groups, motivators and volunteers in the project which has started in November 2018 and continues its services and activities until July 2019.
