Under the Support of Rural Resilience in Yemen ...Tamdeen Youth Distributes Tomato Seeds in Lahj Governorate
As part of its efforts to promote sustainable development, and within Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security in Yemen (ERRY II), funded by FAO, Tamdeen Youth Foundation works to enable rural families to achieve a better living reality by supporting resilient livelihoods and food security. Among TYF’s activities in this area is the distribution of tomato seeds for (1150) beneficiaries in Tuban and Tur Al Bahah districts, Lahj Governorate.
The distribution was accompanied by awareness-raising on the importance of modern agriculture and improved seeds in improving production.
This activity is part of the previous activities, such as establishing field schools for cereals, tomatoes, dairy and livestock fattening, and providing beneficiaries with feed blocks, bran, cereal and tomatoes seeds, and all counselling sessions associated with these schools to improve production.
The total beneficiaries of all project activities are 10,157 persons.
