Based on its interest in agricultural development and promoting a culture of using modern technology in the agricultural sector to reach what has become known as smart agriculture, and as part of Supporting Rural Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security Project in Yemen (ERRY ll), funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Tamdeen Youth Foundation has installed 15 networks of modern irrigation systems, 10 in Tuban and 5 in Tur Al Bahah, Lahj Governorate.

The modern irrigation systems contribute to saving large amounts of water being wasted in the way of flooding irrigation and prevent the growth of harmful grass, which needs a lot of work and expenses.
