Today, in Aden, Mr. Hussien Al Suhaily, Chairman of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, Coordinator of the Humanitarian Action Localization Initiative in Yemen met with the CEO of Nahda Makers Organization Mr. Mohammad Al Sayed and its management team.

The meeting addressed the challenges facing the work of CSOs and their endeavours to localize humanitarian action in Yemen, coordination and networking mechanisms, building alliances to enhance their capacities, ensure their sustainability, and improve the efficiency of their work in providing humanitarian response, and integrate with the Government and the private sector in preparing for the economic recovery program and meet the requirements of sustainable development.

This meeting is part of a series of consultative meetings of Chairman of TYF and Coordinator of the Localization Initiative to activate participatory planning and institutional action between local organizations and the public and private sectors to overcome the humanitarian crisis and invest in local resources and opportunities to achieve recovery, economic empowerment and build productive and stable communities.
