In the meeting, held today in Aden, between Mr. Hussien Al Suhaily, Chairman of TYF, and Ms. Laila Al Faqih, Chairwoman of GWQ, Tamdeen Youth Foundation and Generations Without Qat agreed to work together to promote partnership and networking between NGOs to localize humanitarian action, optimize response mechanisms in Yemen, and activate their role as a third partner of the government and the private sector in economic recovery and development.

They discussed the problems that impede the role of CSOs and the mechanisms of action to direct local assistance and resources to promote economic growth and empower communities, youth and women.

The parties emphasized the continuation of dialogues with government and the private sector, and presented the vision of civil society on development priorities, paving the way for the formulation of a framework for partnership and mutual responsibility.
