Al Suhaily: Preparing Youth for the Labor Market Is the Key to Development
"Training, qualifying, and preparing youth for the labor market is the key to economic development, and one of the most important means of stability and social peace," said Mr. Hussien Al Suhaily, Chairman of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, Coordinator of the Humanitarian Action Localization Initiative in Yemen, and Coordinator of the Economic Recovery Program, during his Sunday meeting at TYF's Head Office in Aden with the Liaison Manager of the Skills Development Fund, Eng. Adel Al Ariqi, with whom he discussed the partnership in qualification and training to provide the local market with qualified technical cadres.
In the meeting, Al Ariqi explained the difficulties faced by the Fund, including increased needs, lack of and limited capacity, and the lack of commitment of government institutions to the financial ratios set by the law to support the Fund in implementing its plans and programs.
In this regard, Al Suhaily called on all government agencies, the private sector and donors to support the plans of the Fund and enable it to keep pace with the economic recovery that requires cadres to cover future projects and provide specialized staff.
