Team from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Visits Tamdeen Youth Foundation in Aden
Mr. Nashwan Al Qubati, Director of Tamdeen Youth Foundation, received a team from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The team included Mr. Elias Khan, Coordinator of the Agency's programs in Aden, Mr. Ahmed Al Zamzami and Mr. Abdulrahman Al Mouallimi, Coordinators of the Private Sector Support Project.
The team was briefed on the Foundation's programs and projects. They expressed their admiration for its focus on creating sustainable job opportunities, contributing to economic recovery, its interest in digital transformation, developments in artificial intelligence and enabling youth to benefit from them by providing them with the skills they need for life in the twenty-first century to integrate into the changing labor market.
In the meeting, TYF's Director praised the active role played by the GIZ in Yemen, and its sustainable development projects as well.
He also discussed with the team the implementation of the Agency-funded Women's Economic Empowerment Project, and gave a presentation on TYF's entrepreneurship and digital finance strategy.
The team expressed its admiration for the added value of the projects proposed to implement its strategy.
The two parties affirmed their keenness to expand the existing partnership and build new partnerships to implement innovative projects in order to achieve common development goals.
