Tamdeen Youth Provides Institutional Support to Legal Secretaries and Notaries in Mokha, Khokha and Hays
Within the activities of the "Supporting Institutional Frameworks and Local Mechanisms for Resolving Land Disputes and Promoting Social Cohesion Project" in the West Coast, funded by Josoor Program, Tamdeen Youth Foundation provided institutional support to the notary registrars in primary courts in Mokha, Khawkha and Hays districts, as well as institutional support to the legal secretaries in the three districts to improve the quality of documentation services, preserving citizens' rights, and enhancing security and social stability.
Lawyer Ali Mukarsheb, Project Coordinator, explained that the support provided to the notaries was an information center, solar energy systems, and stationery. While the support for the legal secretaries consisted of office furniture, bulletin boards, records and notebooks required for the quality of their work. These efforts were blessed by the judicial and local authorities.
"This support comes after activities implemented by the project, which included training and organizing the work of legal secretaries in partnership with notaries in the primary courts in the targeted districts. In addition to implementing a community awareness campaign to introduce the role of the legal secretaries, and procedures for documenting various contracts to avoid malfunctioning in the editing and drafting of real estate documents, preserving rights and reducing disputes."
The project team also made identification boards of approved secretaries according to their spatial jurisdiction and holders of official licenses in order to contribute to serving citizens and achieving the desired development in the procedures related to the work of secretaries and notaries.
