Training in "Networking and Alliance Building" for Community Peace and Development
Tamdeen Youth Foundation organized a special training course in "Networking and Alliance Building" for women's and youth networks, CSOs and youth initiatives in Ash Shamayatain district, Taiz. The course, which is part of "Building the Resilience of Vulnerable Groups in the Conflict Regions Project", aims to coordinate the work of the networks established by the project in its first phase of work with a unified vision and integrated roles in order to contribute to community development and establish community peace foundations in coordination with local authorities.
Balqees Al Abdali, Chairperson of Change Horizons Forum in Yemen and Consultant in Peacebuilding and Gender, provided guidance to young men and women participating in the course on leadership skills, negotiation, advocacy, alliance building, consensus and community coordination. This will enable them to defend their visions and causes more effectively, work alongside the local authority and support its efforts in resolving conflicts and investing energies and resources for building and development.
