Dialogue Session on "Disputes of Humanitarian and Relief Interventions – Challenges and Solutions"

Tamdeen Youth Foundation organized a dialogue session on "Disputes of Humanitarian and Relief Interventions – Challenges and Solutions" which brought together representatives of local and international organizations, local authorities, IDPs, the host community and volunteers in Ash Shamayatain District, Taiz Governorate.

The session aimed to promote peace, understanding and coexistence between IDPs and the host community through humanitarian and relief interventions, and is part of the activities of "Building the Resilience of Vulnerable Groups in the Conflict Regions Project".

The session had transparent discussions on the district's current humanitarian interventions, emergency response criteria, targeting and needs assessment mechanisms, and the reality of planning and coordination on the implementation of humanitarian and development interventions.

Participants agreed on the importance of participatory planning in identifying needs and setting relief and development priorities targeting IDPs and host communities, thereby raising the efficiency of humanitarian interventions, enhancing recovery and stability paths, and restoring economic growth.
