Training Young Men and Women on Building Advance Peace in Ash Shamayatain, Taiz
Within the activities of "Building the Resilience of Vulnerable Groups in the Conflict Regions Project", Tamdeen Youth Foundation organized a special training course for a group of young men and women on "Building Advance Peace" in Ash Shamayatain District, Taiz Governorate.
The course addressed young people's skills in analyzing the underlying causes of conflicts in local communities and ways to help them manage their differences and conflicts without resorting to violence.
Trainer Khaled Al Shamerey taught young men and women how to build peace collaboratively, maximize the impact of humanitarian response, and development programs (health, education, economic development) in conflict areas to contribute deliberately to peace, and make everyone have fair and equal access to the basic needs that ensure their well-being such as food, clean water, shelter, education, health care and a decent living environment.
